The Centre for Cross Border Studies is a joint initiative by The QueenÂ’s University of Belfast, Dublin City University and the WorkersÂ’ Educational Association (Northern Ireland). It is based in Armagh, Northern Ireland, and was set up in 1999 to research and develop co-operation across the Irish border in education, business, public administration, communications and a range of other practical areas. It aims to provide an objective, university-based environment for policy research into, and the development of, practical co-operation between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
