(OCTF) The Organised Crime Task Force (OCTF) was formed in September 2000 to act as a forum in the effort to combat serious and organised crime. The OCTF's area of responsibility includes any criminal activity conducted by paramilitary groups. The OCTF brings together the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), HM Revenue and Customs, the National Criminal Intelligence Service, the Home Office, the Northern Ireland Office (NIO), the Assets Recovery Agency (ARA), and the Northern Ireland Government Departments.
