synonyms: Joseph Rowntree Trusts There are three Joseph Rowntree Trusts. They were all set up at the same time, but have different purposes. They are all independent of each other. The three Trusts are: The Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust, The Joseph Rowntree Foundation, and The Joseph Rowntree Reform Trust Ltd (formerly The Joseph Rowntree Social Service Trust Ltd; JRSST Ltd). A number of political parties and pressure groups in Northern Ireland have been recipients of grants from the JRSST Ltd. The JRSST Ltd even provided funding to finance the expenses of paramilitary delegates attending an Oxford conference in 1974.
